NEET-PG 2025 likely to be held in a single shift on August 3

Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the PG Medical NEET exam has been postponed and will now not be held before August. “The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on Tuesday has filed the application for August 3 for the NEET PG Exam. This will be the final date and the court will allow the same without any objection,” as per Satyam Singh Rajpoot, a Supreme Court advocate. This year, the PG NEET was originally planned to be held in two shifts – morning and afternoon – on June 15. Centres across the country had been finalised, and preparations such as city centre slips and hall tickets were already in place. However, following student petitions and opposition, the Supreme Court ordered the exam to be held in a single shift. Consequently, the previously planned 450-500 centres will be insufficient, and approximately 500 new centres will be added, taking the total to over 1,000 across the country. Also read:SC orders NBE to conduct NEET-PG 2025 in single shiftSC to hear next week pleas challenging lack of transparency in NEET-PG exam
