3 Punjabi youths en route to Australia kidnapped in Iran, ₹1 cr ransom demanded
Three Indians on their way to Australia were kidnapped in Iran, and a ransom of ₹1 crore has been demanded from their families. He had assured them that they would have to take a stopover in Iran and then board a flight to Australia. However, the three youths went missing after landing in Iran on May 1. Later, it was learned that the three had been kidnapped. A video of them tied up was sent to families, asking for ransom.
