Two youths killed in bike -pickup van accident in Ahmedabad’s Naranpura
A road accident in Naranpura, Ahmedabad, claimed the lives of two young men after their motorcycle collided with a stationary pickup van on the newly opened Shastri Nagar overbridge.According to police sources, contractor Tarachand Damor, a resident of Bhadaj and operator of a light and sound system business, was assigned to remove decorative lighting from the bridge. He had parked his pickup van on the side of the road and was engaged in the task along with a laborer.While the work was underway, two youths, reportedly on a speeding bike, lost control and crashed directly into the rear of the pickup van. Both riders sustained critical injuries and were immediately rushed to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries during treatment.The deceased were identified as Vivek Suthar of Odhav and Vihar Vyas of Talala. B Division Traffic Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
