Home Guard jawan dies of heart attack after 24-hour duty at PM Modi’s roadshow prep in Vadodara
A 29-year-old Home Guard jawan deployed for duty during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welcome event in Vadodara died after suffering a heart attack while still on duty. Additionally, two women reportedly collapsed after feeling dizzy.Niteshbhai Jariya, a 29-year-old resident of Lakshmipura village near Vadodara city, was serving in the Home Guard force. He had been deployed on duty from 11 am on Sunday for PM Modi’s welcome event.He remained on duty the entire day on Sunday, overnight, and again on Monday morning. On Monday noon, he suddenly experienced chest pain. His fellow personnel rushed him to the hospital for treatment, but he could not be saved.Preliminary reports suggest that Jariya died due to a heart attack. His wife is a homemaker, and the couple has a one-year-old child. Following the incident, his relatives and friends rushed to Sir Sayajirao General Hospital.After the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat. This is his first visit to the state since the operation. On Monday morning, a ‘Sindoor Samman Yatra’ was held from Vadodara airport to Milan Party Plot. The people of Vadodara showed great enthusiasm for PM Modi’s Sindoor Yatra and welcomed him warmly. Large crowds gathered along the yatra route.
