Shiv Sena (Shinde Faction) Files 24 Nominations Ahead of Local Elections

Silvassa: In preparation for the upcoming Silvassa Municipal Corporation and Daman & Diu District Panchayat elections scheduled for November 5, 2025, a total of 24 candidates from Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) submitted their nomination papers on October 17.

Under the blessings of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and the directives of Shiv Sena’s key leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde, the nominations were filed under the leadership of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu Shiv Sena Chief Hemant Jha and State General Secretary Mahendra Kataria.

For the Silvassa Municipal Corporation, the candidates are:

• Ward 1: Tejas Pankaj Patel

• Ward 4: Altafbhai Multani

• Ward 5: Bhatu Patil

• Ward 7: Heenaben Patel

• Ward 8: Sunitabhen Bhamre

• Ward 10: Hemadriben Abhijeet Goswami

• Ward 14: Jayaben Kishanbhai Patel

• Ward 15: Vinodbhai Navsabhai Patel

For the District Panchayat seats:

• Masat: Shobhanaben Ashwinbhai Patel

• Masat-1: Meenaben Praveenbhai Patel

• Rakholi: Raichandbhai Uttambhai Patel

For Sarpanch and Ward Member positions:

• Masat: Praveenbhai Raviya Patel

• Masat-1: Kailasben Bhagubhai Patel, Mahesh Nagin Patel, Pinki Kishanbhai Andher, Kalpanaben Kanubhai Patel

Masat Panchayat: Shilaben Jeetendra Patel, Sangeetaben Patel, Binaben Patel, Naineshbhai Patel, Ramesh Gorkhiya Patel, Sanjanaben Patel, Ganeshbhai Patel, Vinodbhai Patel

After submitting their nomination papers, all candidates were congratulated and wished success in the upcoming elections.
