The District Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has released a series of public notices and administrative circulars aimed at improving transparency, civic participation, and compliance with updated legal frameworks.

Key updates include:

 1. Land Record Verification Drive

• All individuals involved in land sale or purchase since July 2023 must submit documentation to the Revenue Department by 31 August 2025.

• Failure to comply may result in the suspension of transaction rights or cancellation of pending sale deeds.

• Notices have been served in zones like Silvassa, Rakholi, and Masat.

 2. N.A. Land Permission Clarification

• Residents who have purchased non-agricultural land (N.A. plots) must submit collector’s approval documents and verify title ownership with official registry records.

• Public hearings will be held in August 2025 to resolve disputed entries.

 3. Ration Card Digitization

• Households are instructed to link Aadhaar with ration cards through authorized centers.

• Special counters will be set up at Village Panchayats and Silvassa town offices from 20 to 31 July.

4. Public Grievance Redressal Schedule

• Monthly public hearing dates announced:

  • Silvassa Taluka Office: 3rd Monday of each month.

  • Rural Panchayat Bhavans: Every alternate Friday.

• Citizens can submit written applications in advance or attend in person.

 5. Shop & Trade License Renewals

• Commercial license renewals for 2025–26 must be completed by 15 August 2025.

• Defaulters will be fined under the Municipal Trade Regulation Act.

Officials from the Collectorate urged residents to take these notices seriously and avoid last-minute rush. The administration is also working to integrate SMS and WhatsApp alerts for public notices in future to improve communication with citizens.
