Dilip Joshi, 57, popularly known for his role as ‘Jethalal’ in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah (TMKOC), has lost 16 kg in just 1.5 months without following a gym routine or strict diet plan. The actor shared his weight loss journey in an interview with an entertainment news channel.Joshi mentioned that he followed a simple routine of running for 45 minutes every day and continued this consistently for 1.5 months.In the interview, Joshi revealed that his motivation for losing weight was a film role. He stayed committed to his routine to prepare for his character as a scientist in the 1992 Gujarati film ‘Hun Hunshi Hunshilal’, which required him to achieve a toned physique.He made his film debut in 1989 with ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, playing the role of Ramu, and appeared in several supporting roles in Bollywood films including ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’ (1994), ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ (2000), ‘Khiladi 420’ (2000), and ‘Dil Hai Tumhaara’ (2002).
