Speaking at an AI Summit in Washington on Wednesday, Trump criticised what he described as the globalist mindset of the tech industry, stating that American companies have benefited from freedoms in the US while outsourcing jobs to India and building factories in China.

Many of the largest tech companies in the US have been hiring workers in India and building factories in China while ignoring American workers at home. 

Trump further stated that under his rule , those days are over.
