Driver of bus assigned to ferry ITBP personnel injured after vehicle falls in Sindh nallah in J&K
An empty civil bus hired by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) fell into the Sindh nallah near Kullan Bridge in Ganderbal district on Wednesday morning, according to a local news agency.According to reports, the incident occurred when the bus stalled and driver Waseem Ahmad Dar attempted to push-start it. During the attempt, he lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and plunge into the nallah.The driver was immediately shifted to PHC Kullan, where doctors reportedly said his condition was stable.Reports stated that some weapons of the ITBP personnel went missing in the accident, and only three weapons have been recovered.The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams from Ganderbal and along the nallah have begun rescue and search operations.
