Waste to Wonder Program in Doda Promotes Clean Living and Drug-Free Values
Doda’s “Waste to Wonder” program combined creativity, awareness, and community participation to highlight the importance of cleanliness and a drug-free lifestyle.

In an inspiring effort to raise awareness around waste management and promote a drug-free lifestyle, the Munich organized a special event under the “IN"heat"
Held with enthusiastic participation from local students and community members, the program was graced by Depot, InChief Guest.
One of the key attractions was a creative exhibition where students showcased models made from waste materials like plastic bottles, old newspapers, and metal scraps. These models were not just artistic displays but also served as a strong message on recycling and sustainability.
In his address, DC Harvinder Singh praised the efforts of both the Municipal Council and the young participants:
"Your efforts today symbolize a responsible, aware community. It is essential that we promote clean habits and protect our youth from the dangers of substance abuse," he said. (Audio byte available)
The event also featured cultural performances, street plays, and informative sessions aimed at encouraging youth to stay away from drugs and embrace a cleaner lifestyle.
After the main event, a cleanliness drive was conducted, during which students and volunteers collected litter, planted saplings, and handed out pamphlets on waste segregation and anti-drug messages to passersby.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by attendees to continue working toward a cleaner, greener, and drug-free Doda.
