GPSC reschedule: Deputy Director of Agriculture Class-1 exam cancelled, Assistant Director of Agriculture Class-2 postponed
The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has decided to cancel yet another exam. An official notification has been issued by GPSC regarding the cancellation of the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Class-1 exam. Along with this, the Assistant Director of Agriculture, Class-2 exam has also been postponed.This decision has been taken after the representation made by the candidates regarding the questions asked in the exam. The candidates said that objective questions were asked from the same book in the exam, due to which all the candidates did not get an equal opportunity. With the aim of providing equal opportunity to the candidates, the important decision to cancel this exam has been taken by GPSC.Now, a joint exam of both these recruitments will be held on August 28, 2025. This decision is expected to give more time to the candidates for preparation and maintain transparency in the examination process.The recruitment process was conducted for a total of 12 posts of Deputy Director of Agriculture/District Agriculture Officer Class-1 under the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) recruitment number 122/2024-25. While GPSC announced recruitment for a total of 15 posts of Assistant Director of Agriculture Class-2 under the recruitment number 121/2024-25.
