Senior IAS officers in key departments of Gujarat government transferred
The Government of Gujarat has issued a notification announcing the transfer and appointment of senior IAS officers in major departments, including Food & Civil Supplies, Ports & Transport, and Science & Technology.As per the official order released on Saturday, IAS Mona K Khandhar, currently serving as Principal Secretary to Government, Science & Technology Department, has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, replacing IAS Ramesh Chand Meena.Ramesh Chand Meena, who was Principal Secretary to Government, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department and was also holding additional charge of the Ports and Transport Department, has now been fully transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Ports and Transport Department.IAS Ponugumatla Bharathi, who was serving as Special Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad, has been appointed as Secretary to Government, Science & Technology Department, following the transfer of Mona K Khandhar.The notification was issued by Sunaina Tomar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat, General Administration Department (Personnel).
