This includes airports, airstrips, helipads, flying schools, and training institutes, where surveillance and patrolling are to be intensified without delay.In view of the recent inputs received from central security agencies indicating a potential threat from anti-social elements or terrorist groups during the period September 22 to October 2, 2025, all stakeholders at all airports are directed to enhance security measures at civil aviation installations, the advisory reportedly states.As per reports, the advisory is based on specific intelligence inputs related to activities of a Pakistan-based terror outfit.All aviation-related entities have been directed to maintain close coordination with local police, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Intelligence Bureau (IB), and other security agencies. The directive also underlines the importance of immediately sharing any intelligence inputs or alerts with all relevant stakeholders.Personnel deployed at airports and associated facilities have been instructed to remain on 24/7 high alert, with increased patrolling in and around terminals, parking zones, perimeters, and other vulnerable areas. Cityside security is also being ramped up in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies.The heightened alert comes amid a broader push to ensure robust security preparedness ahead of major upcoming events and national observances.
