Centre turns blind eye on OBC students, zero fund allocated to hostels for the section in Gujarat
A report presented in India’s Parliament has revealed that the central government has not allocated even a single penny to the Gujarat government for the construction of hostels for OBC students.Students forced to stay in PGs or hostelsMany students are compelled to stay in paying guest (PG) accommodations or private hostels in cities for their studies. However, in the last five years, Gujarat has not received a single rupee for constructing hostels for OBC students.
