17 Bhavnagar residents return from Kashmir after surviving Pahalgam terror attack

A wave of relief swept through Bhavnagar on Thursday night as 17 residents who had gone on a trip to Kashmir returned home safely after surviving the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam that took place on Tuesday. Families of the survivors hugged their loved ones with tears of joy and gratitude, thankful for their safe return.The attack, which left 26 tourists dead – including three from Gujarat, shocked the nation. Two of the deceased were from Bhavnagar: Yatish Parmar and Smit Parmar. Another Bhavnagar resident, Vinu Dhabi (62), was injured in the attack, suffering a gunshot wound near his elbow. The group of 20 people from Bhavnagar had travelled to Pahalgam for holidays. Survivors recalled the harrowing moments when the peaceful atmosphere turned into chaos.“We were relaxing and clicking photos when we suddenly heard gunshots,” one survivor said. “At first, we thought it was a military exercise. But soon we realised we were under a terrorist attack.
