Umesh Patel Meets Union Ministers; Raises Issues of DNH & Daman-Diu
Umesh Patel met Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Tribal Affairs Minister Juel Oram, demanding effective implementation of welfare schemes in DNH and Daman & Diu.
New Delhi, February 25, 2025 – Social and political leader Umesh Patel held a significant meeting with Union Minister of Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Shri Juel Oram.
During the discussion, Umesh Patel apprised both ministers about the pressing problems faced by the people of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (DNHDD). He urged the central leadership to take immediate steps to resolve these issues.
Umesh Patel also demanded that the welfare schemes of the respective ministries be effectively implemented in the Union Territory so that the benefits could directly reach the common people.
The meeting focused on ensuring better infrastructure, tourism development, and stronger welfare initiatives for the tribal communities of the region. Umesh Patel expressed confidence that with central government support, long-pending problems of the territory would soon be addressed.
