Ahead of ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir Kapoor quits smoking, drinking, turns vegetarian

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is preparing for his role in the upcoming epic film ‘Ramayana’, revealed that he has made significant lifestyle changes for the project.In a video shared by the movie’s official social media handle, Ranbir said he has quit smoking and drinking and has also turned vegetarian. He added that he is now practicing yoga and meditation regularly.The actor explained that these changes are part of his effort to live a healthier life as he enters his forties. He also mentioned that he wants to stay fit not only for himself but also for his daughter Raha.Ranbir emphasised that he is working on cleansing his lifestyle and hopes to maintain these habits long-term. He added that these choices also help him bring authenticity to his portrayal of Lord Rama in the film.Apart from Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He is also attached to Animal Park, the sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Animal, where he is expected to play a double role.
