Mumbai Crime Branch nabs Gujarat native in Baba Siddique murder case
The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested a Gujarat native from Akola, Maharashtra, on Sunday in connection with Baba Siddique murder case. With his arrest, the total number of arrested accused has reached 25.Salman Vohra, a resident of Petlad in Gujarat’s Anand district, was apprehended by the Mumbai Crime Branch from Akola, 565 kilometres away from Mumbai.According to crime branch sources, Vohra’s involvement in the Baba Siddique murder case was to finance the plan. He had opened a bank account in May and assisted previously arrested individuals in the case, including Gurmel Singh, Rupesh Mohal, and Harish Kumar. Vohra provided financial aid to these individuals and helped others involved in the crime.Prior to this, the police had apprehended the main shooter in the case, Shivkumar Gautam from Uttar Pradesh on November 10. Salman Vohra, a resident of Petlad in Gujarat’s Anand district, was apprehended by the Mumbai Crime Branch from Akola, 565 kilometres away from Mumbai.
According to crime branch sources, Vohra’s involvement in the Baba Siddique murder case was to finance the plan.
