Car plunges into Narmada canal near Karjan, two die
A car carrying four passengers plunged into Narmada canal at Karjan after crashing into the parapet near the canal, resulting in the death of two people after the car drowned in the water. The other two passengers in the back seat were rescued.According to the information, Naresh Patanvadia, his nephew Hitesh Patanvadia, his elder brother Arvind Patanvadia, and Bharat Patanvadia had gone to visit Naresh’s daughter at Sayar village, Karjan.Around 9 pm, they were returning by car, which was being driven by Hitesh. At around 9.30 pm, Hitesh lost control of the car at a turn and crashed into the parapet, which broke, causing the car to plunge into the canal near Karjan.At that time, Hitesh and his uncle Arvind, who were seated in the front of the car, died on the spot.As Naresh called out for help, people rushed to the scene and managed to save Naresh and Bharat, who were seated in the back seat.Hitesh and Arvind were also pulled out of the car and rushed to the hospital, but they could not survive, and doctors at the government hospital declared them dead.
