Administrator Praful Patel issues strict warning on Independence Day, declaring that hooliganism, blackmail, and law-breaking will not be tolerated in Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Lakshadweep.

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, Administrator of Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Lakshadweep, Praful Patel, delivered a powerful message against unlawful activities in the Union Territories.
Addressing the Independence Day function at Khanvel, Patel made it clear that those who attempt to disturb peace, blackmail industrialists, or tarnish the region’s image will face strict administrative action.
“Administration’s Baton Will Fall on Miscreants”
In his firm statement, Patel declared:
> “Hooliganism, blackmail, and efforts to damage the reputation of the Union Territories will not be tolerated. The administration’s baton will fall heavily on those indulging in such unlawful acts.”
Warning Against Nuisance and Extortion
Patel noted that certain individuals were engaging in unnecessary disturbances, blackmailing business owners by making videos outside companies, extorting money, and using stunts to harm the reputation of the territories.
“These people are damaging the peace and progress of the region. The administration will act strictly and take harsh steps against them,” he warned.
Emphasis on Peace and Development
Highlighting the significance of a peaceful environment for investment and growth, Patel assured that disruptive activities would not be allowed.
> “This region runs on peace, progress, and the rule of law. There is no place here for those who indulge in hooliganism,” he asserted.
