In pursuance of the directions issued by the Director School Education Jammu, and in view of the advisory issued by Divisional Commissioner Jammu vide No. 401/NDMA/1303-10 dated 17-08-2025, all Government and Private Schools across the Jammu division shall remain closed on August 18, 2025.
This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students, in view of the adverse weather conditions forecasted in the region.
All Heads of Institutions and Zonal Education Officers are directed to:
– Ensure that no student is exposed to any kind of risk during this period
– Remain vigilant and take necessary precautionary measures to safeguard school property
– Communicate immediately in case of any emergency situation arising due to weather conditions
