Man accused of sexual assault in Rajkot names three people in suicide note
In a shocking twist to the suicide case of a man from Savarkundla, who was accused of raping a minor, it has now been found from his suicide note that he was pressured into taking the drastic step.A complaint was filed against Amit Khunt of Ribada village, stating that Khunt had allegedly raped a minor after giving her an intoxicating drink and assaulting her.A suicide note by Khunt has now revealed the name of the minor and two others, ‘Anubha’ and ‘Rajdeep’. The note mentions that Khunt was pushed into dying by suicide by the trio.A local leader, Govind Sagapariya of Ribada, has also made serious allegations against one Aniruddhasinh Jadeja, alleging that Jadeja forced Amit Khunt to take the extreme step. The 17-year-old girl from Savarkundla was staying at a hotel in Rajkot and was working as a model. During that time, the minor and Khunt used to meet frequently.Khunt was accused of rape by the minor. Before a police investigation could begin, he ended his life by hanging himself from a tree in his farmland.The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
