Minor girl found pregnant, reveals she was sexually assaulted repeatedly by two teens in Rajkot
A 12-year-old girl in Rajkot was allegedly raped by two teenage boys on several occasions, leading to a pregnancy.A case was registered at Rajkot B-Division Police under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) against the offenders.According to police, the girl experienced a stomach ache while she was at her relative’s place in Maharashtra, and she was taken to a doctor. The doctor said that she was five months pregnant. When the girl’s parents questioned her about the pregnancy, she disclosed the name of a teenage boy in the neighbourhood in Rajkot.The Maharashtra Police transferred the complaint to B-Division Police Station in Rajkot.It was revealed that two boys aged 16 and 13, had allegedly raped the girl multiple times, one being a close relative.As one of the boys threatened to kill her, she did not disclose his name at first while filing the complaint.While one boy assaulted her during the last Navratri, another boy, who was a close relative, raped her around 6-7 times.As per police, the boy allegedly used to visit her in the absence of her parents and rape her.The police are investigating the matter.Also read:BJP worker sexually assaults tribal women in Navsari under false promise of marriage
