The threat call was received on the traffic police helpline.The message claimed that 34 vehicles have been rigged with human bombs and that Mumbai will be shaken after the explosions. The threat also mentions the terrorist organisation called ‘Lashkar-e-Jehadi’ and claims that 14 Pakistani terrorists have infiltrated India.About two weeks ago, a warning of a blast at the Four Seasons Hotel in Worli was issued. Prior to that, on August 14, the police received a call claiming that a train would be blown up, after which the caller immediately disconnected. No specific time or location was given. The police took the matter seriously and investigated, but nothing suspicious was found.Another threat that shook Mumbai was received on July 26. The threat claimed that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) would be blown up. The caller specifically mentioned that a bomb would be placed at the station, endangering passengers’ lives. However, during the police investigation, nothing suspicious was found there either.
